Gold Star Soccer summer camps will provide an environment where players will be challenged to strive for milestones throughout the camp. Players will compete for awards on Friday. There will be daily challenges at summer camp with the opportunity to earn Gold Star points that can be redeemed at the end of camp for Gold Star Soccer merchandise.

Players will earn “zoo dollars” and can purchase Gold Star Soccer merchandise though the Gold Star Soccer store on Friday.
Players that display the Gold Star Soccer character traits throughout the week will be acknowledged by the coaching staff for creating a positive experience for all campers.

Topics that will be covered throughout the week will consist of technical & tactical aspects for individuals and group play, speed & agility, and individual ball handling skills.
The morning sessions will consist of learning the proper technique of carrying the ball, juggling the ball, and the 8 Gold Star Zoo animal skills. Players will learn when and where to properly use all 8 Gold Star zoo animal skills. Players will end the morning sessions playing 1v1 matches allowing them to use the skills they were taught. Morning sessions focus on individual skill based competitions.

The Afternoon sessions NEW FOR 2024! Futsal will be taught in the afternoon sessions. Players will also learn the proper technique of speed & agility, striking the ball along with attacking & defending principles (creating space, support, width and depth). Players will end the afternoon sessions playing futsal and small sided games allowing them to use the principles they were taught.
