GOLD STAR ZOO: (AGES 2 - 8)
Gold Star Soccer has built a year-round age specific soccer curriculum around the physical, psychological, and developmental needs for young children ages 2 - 8. Our classes are well suited for the first time soccer player, while still being fun and engaging for players who have already had some soccer experience. We will give brief and direct instructions to allow for more free play for players to experiment with the soccer ball.
Gold Star Soccer will emphasize motor skills development, character building, creative play, and enjoyment of the sport. We will teach the fundamentals of soccer and encourage each player to become comfortable and confident with the soccer ball. Each player will experience a raised self-esteem and most importantly, experience the fun and enjoyment of the game. Our nurturing approach creates the best environment for young soccer players to grow. Individual development will vary.
Join the only 3v3 Soccer league in Western MA & Northern CT. Players ages 4 - 8 who participate in the Gold Star Zoo will train for 1.5 hours a week and play a 3v3 game on Saturday.
Gold Star Soccer believes that players between the age of 2 - 8 have to learn how to become brilliant with the ball. Players need to be in an environment where they are encouraged during training sessions and games to express their confidence. The Gold Star 3v3 League will allow players to incorporate their individual ball handling skills they were taught during the week into the games without the pressure of failure.
3v3 game will be played during the last 45 minutes of their Saturday training.

Gold Star Zoo: Ages 2 -3 is a child development program taught with the assistance of a parent/guardian. A parent/guardian will participate with instruction, activities & games with their children and coach. This class will utilize soccer as a means to encourage motor skills development and cognitive ability. We will create a positive bonding experience between parents and their young children. These fun classes will have your child learning colors, numbers, shapes, letters, animals, countries, continents along with many more fun activities to develop the joy of education and beginning soccer skills.
Classes will consist of sixty-minute sessions that will run 1 day a week for 8 weeks. The Gold Star Zoo program will consist of a fall, winter 1, winter 2, and a spring session. If after your first session you are not entirely happy, we will gladly refund 100% of your tuition. Gold Star Zoo: Ages 4 - 6 is a child development program taught without parent/guardian participation. The class is designed to help transition these young soccer players into a structured group activity without a parent by their side. Players will start cultivating their love for the game of soccer. They will develop their gross motor skills and coordination while developing social skills and learning how to listen in a group setting. Players will learn all the basics of soccer. Each session will consist of a warm-up, an introduction of the daily topic, individual skills development and fun games designed to teach soccer skills. We will introduce the concept of 1v1 and teach each player the importance of being comfortable and confident with a soccer ball.
Classes will consist of one sixty-minute session during the week along with a 30 minute training session and a 3 v 3 soccer game following the Saturday session. The Spring session will run for 8 weeks. The Gold Star Zoo program will consist of a fall, winter 1, winter 2, and a spring session.
