2023-24 GOLD STAR FUTSAL TEAMS
Our Mission is to promote the sport of futsal as a developmental tool for soccer players to expedite their love for the game by offering futsal clinics, camps and futsal specific training programs.
We will be holding Identification sessions for boys/girls ages 2018 – 2005 to play competitive futsal during the 2023-24 futsal season. Gold Star Futsal Club is town/premier club neutral! We have players from multiple town teams and premier teams throughout Western MA. and Connecticut. We are the only futsal specific club in the area.
At Gold Star Futsal we will teach players futsal movements that will allow them to succeed during regional & national tournaments, Identification programs, and on International trips. Gold Star Futsal players have the unique opportunity to be directly connected to the United States Youth Futsal (USYF) ID program, Regional and National Championships. Players will be exposed to the regional and national coaching staff.
Player Spotlight - Julian Osowiecki 08B
The Gold Star 2008B ACBF futsal Goalie, Julian Osowiecki will be traveling with the National Futsal Development (NFDP) program from March 25th through April 2nd 2023.
The NFDP is run by the US Mens National futsal coaching staff Dusan Jakkica, Otto Orf, and Pablo Da Silva to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The team will play 4 matches against top clubs in Argentina including a few of the AFA national teams.

Gold Star Futsal success stories
Gold Star Futsal teams have experienced success on the Regional level. In 2021 the Gold Star Futsal 2008 Girls team & the 2010 Girls team were finalists in the USYF Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament and USF National tournament, respectfully. In 2020 our 2008 Girls team won the United States Youth Futsal (USYF) Northeast Regional Tournament. In 2018 the 2009 boys team reached the USYF Northeast Championship semi-finals. In 2019 the 2008 girls also reached the USYF Northeast Championship semi-finals.
Gold Star Futsal players have also experienced individual success at the national and International level. The summer of 2022, Gold Star Futsal player Talon Dillard was selected to represent the USA on the USYF International team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2021, Gold Star Futsal players Mila and Talon Dillard were selected to represent the USA on the USYF International team in Madrid, Spain. In 2020 the USYF did not have an international trip due to Covid-19. In 2019, Gold Star Futsal player Mila Dillard represented the USA on the USYF International team in Barcelona, Spain. Players are recognized at a regional ID and qualified to attend the USYF national combine in Kansas. Players that perform well at the USYF national combine are selected for the USA USYF International team. The USYF only select 12 players for each International team

Gold Star Futsal teams will train 1 time a week from November – March. Players will play in the WM Futsal League. 2018 – 2005 Gold Star Futsal elite teams may participate in the Premier Club Futsal League. The PCFL is the premier futsal league in New England.
Gold Star Futsal Elite players will also have the opportunity to attend various regional tournaments

Gold Star Futsal owner, Brent Dillard is a USYF National Identification coach. He completed the USYF Level 1 & 2 coaching course, and is a certified futsal referee. Brent will run the daily operations.
Gold Star Futsal Director of player development, Jaytoe Teh is a USYF Regionals Identification coach. He completed the USYF Level 1 & 2 coaching course, and is a certified futsal referee. Jaytoe will oversee the futsal development for each player in the program.
Gold Star Futsal Director of Goalkeeping, Raul Ferreira is a USYF Regional Identification coach. He completed the USYF Level 1 & 2 coaching course, and is a certified futsal referee. Raul will directly work with each goalie in the program.
