COACHING STAFF

Brent Dillard M.Ed., AT.C - Owner

Brent Dillard is the owner of Gold Star Soccer. He has over 21 years of experience working with the youth development phase of soccer players. Brent has been the curriculum director of summer camps in Western MA. and Northern CT. for the last 16 years. In 2009, he created the Gold Star Zoo, a 2 – 8 year old developmental program that has raised the bar for youth soccer players.

In 2018, Brent is the co-owner of the Western Massachusetts Futsal League, a USYF affiliated futsal league for youth soccer players. The WM Futsal League is the only USYF affiliated league in Western MA. & Northern CT

Brent holds an Advanced National License from the United Soccer Coaches (USC). He played professional indoor soccer in the Eastern Indoor Soccer League and the American Indoor Soccer League for the Lafayette Swampcats and the Massachusetts Twisters, respectfully.

​

Brent completed a Master of Education degree from University of Massachusetts. His undergraduate degree from  Springfield College is a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Biology. He is a licensed Athletic Trainer certified with the NATA.

​

Brent's soccer experience spans many countries. He spent time in Melbourne, Australia with East Altona of the Premier League. Brent Trained with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the A-League. During his youth career he was a member of the first U.S. youth team to win the Flanders Cup in Belgium. 

​

Brent is a United States Youth Futsal (USYF) national ID coach and he has completed the USYF Level 1 & 2 coaching education courses.

Jaytoe Teh - Director of Player Development

Jaytoe Teh is a Director of Player Development for Gold Star Soccer. He has worked for Gold Star Soccer the last 8 years. Jaytoe assists in the development of the curriculum for 1 on 1 & small groups sessions. He is the Director of the Gold Star Zoo, a 2 – 8 year old developmental program that has raised the bar for youth soccer players. Jaytoe is also the Assistant Director of summer camps in Western MA. and Northern CT.

Jaytoe is the co-owner of the Western Massachusetts Futsal League, a USYF affiliated futsal league for youth soccer players. The WM Futsal League is the only USYF affiliated league in Western MA. & Northern CT. WM Futsal League

Jaytoe played collegiate soccer at Cincinnati State University for 2 years before transferring to the University of Kentucky for his Junior year. He finished his senior year at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).

​

Jaytoe trained with the St. Louis FC of the USL Pro and the St. Louis U23 PDL team.

 

Jaytoe is a United States Youth Futsal (USYF) regional ID coach and he has completed the USYF Level 1 & 2 coaching education courses. ​ 

Richard Amoako - Head of Sports Science movement & Psychology

​

Richard Amoako is the head of player Sports Science movement and Psychology for all Gold Star Soccer/Futsal players. He graduated from University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. He is a 4 year varsity soccer player at the University of Massachusetts. He was born in Ghana and currently resides in Springfield, MA. Richard graduated from Springfield Central High School where he led the team to two consecutive league titles.

Omari Murray

Omari Murray is a former player for the Jamaican Youth National Team. He has played professional soccer throughout New England. Omari is known for his individual ball-handling skills and his technique for striking the ball. He was the   head Gold Star Soccer summer camp instructor for 14 years. 

​

Omari played collegiate soccer at American International College (AIC).

​

Omari played professional soccer with the Massachusetts Twisters of the American Indoor Soccer League, Springfield Legend of the Premier Arena Soccer League, New Hampshire Phantoms  of the United Soccer League, and the Staten Island Vipers of the A - League.​

 

Omari played on the Jamaican Youth National Team (U12, U14, U18, U20).
